The Flavour Festival is an arena for culinary battles, as well as a place for group cooking and contests for the best dish and recipe. Other attractions include bread baking, cooking, herb usage and carving workshops.
Celebrity cooks visit Opole during the event, including Charles Daigneuault, a Canadian MasterChef participant who has lived in Poland for many years; healthy cooking blogger and author Katarzyna Jankowska aka MAG, as well as Adrian Feliks of TOP CHEF fame.
The cooking is accompanied by dancing and live music from around the world. Other attractions include activities for children and sporting events for those who want to burn some calories after tasting all the cooking. Every edition has been packed to the rafters with interesting things, such as beating the Guinness world record for the largest Silesian crumb cake. You can also buy local and home-made delicacies and products from the many stands and booths.
