The Castle Pond by Barlicki Street with a Playing Fountain

The Castle Pond is the remaining of the 18th century moat which surrounded the Piast castle. At the start of the 20th Century, the pond was used by the citizens for leisure. In 2013 the pond was reconstructed and the silent until then fountain, was turned into a playing one. During the multi-media show, the most famous Polish songs are played here. The show looks most stunning in the evenings when streams of water are lit in different colours and their rhythmical movements are accompanied by the sounds of the unforgettable Polish songs.
The multimedia fountain show can be enjoyed from spring to autumn everyday at noon, 18.30 and 21.30
